- Rome: Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, Piazza Venezia, Piazza del Popolo, Pincio, Fori Imperiali, the many squares adorned with fountains, palaces, the Vatican with the magnificent St. Peter, Villa Borghese and all its museums.

- Tivoli and Villa Adriana: 20 km outside of Rome, Villa Adriana (UNESCO) is a must see, as well as Villa d 'Este and Villa Gregoriana.

- Bracciano: Castello Orsini, the lake, the near village of Sutri, with Villa Savorelli and archaeological sites.

- Ostia Antica: big town on the way from Rome towards the sea, with a perfectly preserved archeological site.

- The charming towns of the Castelli Romani: Castel Gandolfo, Albano Laziale, with the homonymous lake, Ariccia, Genzano Romano, Grottaferrata, Marino, Nemi, Lake Nemi, Rocca di Papa.
